Why do the rich send millions of dollars overseas to help the poor but yet MILLIONS in the US remain homeless?
ADDITIONALLY...Why cant Bradgelina (Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt) AND Madonna (who has jumped aboard the adoption band wagon) - adopt some of the millions of poor & homeless children in the US instead of lil Asian & African babies that seem to be the trend?
Ah, but when those celebrities do help people here, then it becomes "Why did those kind of people" or "Why did they help those people over there". Even if they are doing out of their own self interests, the wealthy people are helping people who have nearly no chance in hell of receiving ANY help. They don't have programs and safety nets like in westernized countries. For example: Say a child here is up for adoption. Well, he never gets adopted, but he is NOT going to live on the streets, begging for food, huffing paint to stay warm (unless he's a runaway); he at least will be in an orphanage with schooling, food, health care, etc.
