Radar gun Speeding ticket by CHP?
Good day everybody let me tell you all Happy Holidays to all of you before i start talking about my problem.
I was coming back to Los Angeles from Las Vegas, I am on interstate 15 south, my speedometer indicates about 75MPH and my navigation unit's speed indicator indicates 74MPH (it's a 70MPH zone), CHP is hidding on the right side of the freeway and he clocked me (from the side of my car) and pulled me over, he never clocked me from behind of my car or compared the speed car to car. he showed me the radar gun's readings 93MPH and gave me a speeding ticket, I asked him to show me the calibration sticker, he refused, how i can be sour that he clocked me and not the car next to me, and how shore i can be that gun is accurate and he re-set before he clocked me, I mean he can clock some speedy car and show me the numbers that are not mine (by mistake), I need some friendly advice before I go front of Judge.

From your description, I have some concerns about the radar clock. Radar measures the speed in relationship to the unit, meaning the most accurate speed is if the vehicle is traveling directly towards, or directly away, from the unit.
A clock from the side would not be a true reading. Of bigger concern, this reading from the side would be lower, not higher, due to what is called a "cosine error".
As far as the calibration records of the radar unit, those must be introduced in court.
